Corydoras Sterbai

• Description: The Sterbai Corydoras (Corydoras sterbai) is one of the most striking and recognizable armored catfish in the hobby, famous for its intricate white-on-black checkered head pattern, dark spotted body, and bright orange pectoral fin spines. They are incredibly popular not only for their high-contrast looks but because they can tolerate higher water temperatures than almost any other cory, making them the ultimate bottom-dwelling companions for Discus and warm-water community tanks.
• Care Level: Easy (Very hardy and adaptable, making them great for beginners and experienced hobbyists alike).
• Temperament: Peaceful (Entirely non-aggressive, social schooling fish that should always be kept in groups of 6 or more to see their active, playful behavior).
• Diet: Omnivore (Excellent bottom scavengers; eagerly accept high-quality sinking pellets, algae wafers, and crushed flakes, supplemented with regular treats of frozen or live bloodworms and brine shrimp).
• Max Size: 6.5 cm (2.5 inches)
• Temp Range: 24°C–30°C (75°F–86°F) (Unique for their ability to thrive in warmer tropical setups).
• pH Range: 6.0–7.6
