Corydoras Peppered

Corydoras Peppered (Peppered Cory Catfish)

• Description: The Peppered Corydoras (Corydoras paleatus) is a classic, incredibly resilient armored catfish featuring a beautiful mottled pattern of dark green, bronze, and black spots over a shimmering silver body. They are energetic, highly active bottom-dwellers that constantly forage, making them a fantastic clean-up crew for community tanks.
• Care Level: Easy (One of the hardiest Corydoras species, making them excellent for beginners)
• Temperament: Peaceful (Completely non-aggressive, social schooling fish that should be kept in groups of 6 or more)
• Diet: Omnivore (Enthusiastic bottom scavengers; feed high-quality sinking pellets, wafers, flake foods, and regular treats of frozen or live bloodworms and brine shrimp)
• Max Size: 6.5–7.5 cm (2.5–3 inches)
• Temp Range: 15°C–25°C (59°F–77°F) (Prefers slightly cooler water than many other tropical species and can tolerate sub-tropical temperatures)
• pH Range: 6.0–8.0 (Highly adaptable to a wide range of water parameters)
