Corydoras Pygmy

• Description: The Pygmy Corydoras (Corydoras pygmaeus) is a captivating dwarf catfish that breaks the mold of traditional cories by swimming freely in the mid-water columns rather than just staying on the bottom. Sporting a sleek silver body with a bold black horizontal stripe, these tiny, schooling fish bring incredible energy and charm to nano aquariums and heavily planted tanks.
• Care Level: Easy to Moderate (Hardy once established, but their tiny size makes them sensitive to sudden shifts in water quality or strong filter currents).
• Temperament: Peaceful (Completely non-aggressive and very timid; they must be kept in schools of 8 or more to feel secure and display natural mid-water schooling behavior).
• Diet: Omnivore (Due to their tiny mouths, they require crushed flakes, micro pellets, baby brine shrimp, daphnia, and powdered sinking foods).
• Max Size: 2–2.5 cm (0.75–1 inch)
• Temp Range: 22°C–26°C (72°F–79°F)
• pH Range: 6.0–7.5
