Returns Policy

Please choose carefully as we do not refund if you change your mind or if the item is not as you thought. We are happy to exchange items within 7 days of purchase, providing goods are in their original condition including packaging. If the goods are faulty we will meet our obligations under the Consumers Guarantee Act. All refunds or exchanges can only be done at the store or online. When returning a product to us, please ensure you have a copy of your receipt, as this is your proof of purchase. We will also pay the return shipping costs only if the returned is a result of an error made by WonderWorld Aquarium & Pet Centre (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc). If you have purchased something and wish to return for exchange, then it is up to you to organise and pay the freighting and freight costs associated with sending it back to us.

You should expect to receive your refund within 7-28 days of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.

WonderWorld Aquarium & Pet Centre offers Free Shipping for all online orders over the value of $99.99+* Anywhere in New Zealand.
 

All Purchases under $99.99* will include a $14.99 delivery charge.

*OVERSIZED and Fragile: we cannot offer Free Shipping on these items. Due to weight, size restrictions with our courier company. We do offer pick up from the store. If a delivery is required for and OVERSIZED and Fragile* item(s). Please contact our store for additional freight surcharges to get this item delivered to the door. 

Oversized items could be products such as a dog kennel, pet housing, crates, rabbit cages, bird cages, large pieces of cat furniture, Glass Aquarium* *Glass Aquariums are sent at their own risk.

Our Courier service doesn't operate on weekends or public holidays.

Frozen & Perishable products are strictly pick up in store only. We may be able to arrange shipping to a limited number of locations within New Zealand. Please note we will need to additional freight charges will apply as we will need to use a chilled and frozen goods shipping company. 

Please Note:

We can only deliver within New Zealand. We are unable to send orders to Post Office boxes and destinations outside of New Zealand.

Product Availability:

99% of the time your products are available for collection from our store. There is the odd occasion where some products are needed to sourced from our warehouse. This could impact instant pickups or deliveries.

If you have an urgent request please contact us prior to placing your order to ensure that we can accommodate your requests

You can expect to receive your goods within 2-7 working days (rural and remote locations may take longer) local and some surrounding areas from Rotorua are usually overnight.

If we are unable to meet this time frame, we will email you with an estimated time of arrival. You will then have the opportunity of continuing with your purchase or cancelling the order.

If you need an item urgently please let us know and we will advise you of any applicable delivery costs. As express deliveries do incur additional shipping charges.
