Protects fish and removes harmful-to-fish chemicals from tap water to make water safe

When adding or changing water in your pond, untreated tap water can expose fish to chlorine, chloramines and other substances that can affect their health. API Pond Stress Coat instantly conditions pond water by removing chlorine and chloramines and neutralising heavy metals.

It also contains Aloe Vera and a slime coat replenisher to help support the fish's natural protective slime coat. Stress can affect this protective layer, leaving fish more vulnerable to skin problems and disease.

API Pond Stress Coat is particularly useful when adding or changing pond water, introducing new fish, or when fish need additional skin and fin support.

How to use API Pond Stress Coat

Use the dosing cap provided.

When adding or changing pond water:
Add 15mL per 228L (60 US gallons) of pond water.

For larger ponds, use 120mL per 1,820L (480 US gallons).

For areas with known high chloramine levels:
Double the dose for additional fish protection.

When introducing new fish or supporting healthy skin and fins:
Double the normal dose.

Use it when adding or changing pond water, when introducing new fish, or when fish need additional support for their skin and fins.

Does Pond Stress Coat help protect a fish's slime coat?
Yes. It contains Aloe Vera and a slime coat replenisher designed to help support the fish's natural protective slime coat.

How much API Pond Stress Coat should I use?
For normal pond water conditioning, use 15mL per 228L of pond water. Double the dose when introducing fish, supporting healthy skin and fins, or when treating water in areas with known high chloramine levels.

Yes. If you're adding tap water, treating it first helps remove chlorine and chloramines that can be harmful to pond fish.

Wonderworld Tip

If you're topping up or changing pond water with tap water, don't forget the conditioner just because the water looks clean. Chlorine and chloramines are invisible, so treating replacement water before it reaches your fish is an important part of good pond care.
