Young males available now.

These are young males, and they'll either be going through a motl or in the process of finishing one. This is completely normal. Molting can leave them patchy. It's a natural process, and they don't need special treatment - just good nutrition, clean water and a comfortable environment.

These guys have been living ourdoors for a couple on fmonths and are accustomed to normal ourdoor conditions, including cold, heat and rain.

They nee access to a good dust bath.

Dust bathing helps them maintain their feather and help control external parasites.

Their main feed is NRM Gamebird Crumble, which provides their essential nutrition.

They also enjoy extras such as:

  • Mealworms
  • Grass and dandelion
  • Clover
  • Azolia and duckweed
  • Suitable vegetable scraps and occasional fruit

Quail are social birds, so they ideally need suitable companions rather than being kept alone.

If you're introducing new quail, a common method is to introduce them overnight while it's dark, which may improve acceptance.

However, this is not a guarantee - introduce birds carefully, provide plenty of space and hiding spaces, and monitor them closely for aggression.
