Livestock Shipping/DOA Policy

Livestock Shipping.

Fish are shipped Monday through Wednesday, except for Public Holidays.
Live Animals are shipped polystyrene-boxed with heat packs using NZ Couriers overnight delivery service.

Livestock Shipping Costs & Tracking:

  • NORTH ISLAND – Livestock $28.99
  • RURAL NORTH ISLAND – Livestock $37.99
  • SOUTH ISLAND – Livestock $38.99
  • RURAL SOUTH ISLAND – Livestock $47.99

When selecting shipping options for your fish, please choose one that has the label Livestock as shown above. If any other options are chosen, we will contact you to correct the issue. Please note livestock does not qualify for free shipping in any instance.

After you have purchased your fish, you will receive an email with tracking information once the Courier has collected the package.

 

Shipping Charges are Non-Refundable.

If live animal shipments are lost or delayed by the carrier, we are unable to offer any reimbursement and your local New Zealand Couriers should be contacted directly.

Wonderworld does not take responsibility for any issue that may occur due to the customer entering the address or contact information incorrectly so please double check this before checking out.

Rural shipping is at your own risk, there will be no guarantee on livestock that is shipped rurally.

 

What happens if my fish arrives dead?

Fish are guaranteed to arrive alive if they are delivered and received within the allocated timeframe (usually overnight), in the event your fish is not in good condition to travel we will contact you to discuss your options.

In the unfortunate event your fish does not make the trip, we will require 3 photos of the fish in the unopened bag within 2 hours of the delivery being made, these can be sent to our Facebook page or emailed to info@wonderworldpetcentre.co.nz. Reimbursement is at the discretion of Wonderworld and its staff members. Reimbursement may be in the form of a refund, store credit or re-attempt at delivering the fish (another shipping charge may apply).

 

What happens if the fish I ordered is out of stock?

While we try to ensure stock levels are correct and up to date, due to the nature of livestock things can change at short notice.

In the event you purchase a fish and we are unable to fulfil the order, we will contact you and endeavour to ship out your fish the following week. If we cannot do this due to limited availability from our suppliers, we will contact you to discuss partial/full refund or replacement with other available fish.
